About me
Austin-based cellist, composer, and producer Alexis Wolfe oscillates between the worlds of classical composition and electronic experimentation. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Media with an emphasis in Violoncello performance and training in electroacoustic composition. Wolfe’s solid foundation in classical music theory, composition, and performance, together with her hands-on experience in electronic synthesis, recording, and production, has shaped a distinctive and refined approach to creating and producing music. Her work in experimental electroacoustic music bridges the tactile and the technological, using sound as a space for reflection and transformation. Through the melding of performance and experimentation, Wolfe creates immersive sonic environments that blur the boundaries between artist, audience, and space.
